Helix Sleep offers hybrid mattresses made using polyfoam comfort systems, dual-layer covers, and pocketed coil support cores fortified with polyfoam base layers. Helix Sleep Jobs
Helix Sleep offers complete mattress customization. Customers are urged to complete a questionnaire that discusses their height, weight, sleep position, firmness preferences, and other elements. Then based on these answers, Helix Sleep will suggest one of the following six mattress models; each respective variant offers a unique combination of support and firmness:
- Helix Sunset: ‘Soft’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Moonlight: ‘Soft’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
- Helix Midnight: ‘Medium’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dusk: ‘Medium’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
- Helix Twilight: ‘Firm’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dawn: ‘Firm’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
Helix Sleep mattresses with targeted cushioning conform closely, making them optimal for side sleepers. While hybrids with moderate cushioning do not conform as much and are ideal for pretty much all sleep positions. Lighter people may feel most comfy on models with balanced support, while individuals who weigh 130 lbs or more often prefer the variants with additional support.
Helix Sleep also offers two mattresses with dual-firmness, the Helix Dual Balanced (with balanced support and targeted cushioning) and the Helix Dual Extra (with moderate cushioning and additional support). Both these variants have one ‘Firm’ side and one ‘Soft’ side, which makes them ideal for couples with differing tastes. Lastly, the Helix Nightfall is a hybrid developed for bigger, heavier people. This model has an additional layer of memory foam for maximum support.
My review of Helix Sleep mattresses found that the customizable selection conforms to sleepers with a wide assortment of firmness preferences and body types. The mattresses also provide strong edge support, isolate movement nicely, and create less noise than the average hybrid. Helix Sleep Jobs

Construction Helix Sleep Jobs
All 9 of the various iterations of the mattress will differ slightly in construction, but for 6 of the 9 variants, the construction should be rather similar. The six core models (listed above) are 10 inches tall, composed of 6 inches of pocketed coils and 4 inches of foam.
Helix mattresses differ in density and firmness depending upon the foams utilized in order to get more/less firmness and more/less support. The four unique foams used within Helix mattresses are high-grade polyurethane foam, memory foam, Helix Dynamic Foam, and a DuraDense Foam (aka support foam). Not all of the beds have all of the foams – some only have three of the four – but it really shouldn’t matter much for the consumer. The foams are just levers that Helix Sleep can pull to be able to offer 9 unique versions (and hopefully have a mattress for everybody). Helix Sleep Jobs
Below, I briefly discuss the construction (materials and quality) of your typical Helix mattress, the Helix Midnight.
Cover – Originally, all Helix mattresses have exactly the same cover, made of 100 percent polyester. I thought it to be thin and stretchy, allowing for some great breathability. But, if you would like something more lavish, you can opt to swap out the normal cover for the brand’s UltraCool one, which is made up of a phase-change material for temperature regulation.
Comfort Layer – Up top, you will discover a heavy layer of memory foam. This type of foam has a slow response to pressure, meaning you are likely to experience some great body contouring. While it might seem odd for a purportedly medium firm mattress to incorporate a memory foam comfort layer, it is important to remember that the presence of deep sinkage does not necessarily translate to softness; in fact, oftentimes it produces quite a firm feel.
Transition Layer – After sinking through the memory foam comfort layer, you’ll discover a transition layer of poly foam. This layer works to suppress the sinkage of the comfort layer and establish a supportive, medium firm feel as you reach the individually wrapped coils below.
Support Layer – The majority of the mattress is made up of this segment of pocketed coils. This system brings a supportive lift into the structure, working to place the sleeper “on top” of the mattress, as opposed to “in it”. Since these coils are wrapped individually, they are also going to encourage additional breathability as air flows in between the spaces in the coils.
Base Layer – Last but not least, you’ll find a thin segment of high-density poly foam. This section doesn’t really affect the feel of the mattress too much, functioning mostly to give the pocketed coils something off of which to react.
Firmness and Support
After taking a look at the construction of the Helix mattresses, let’s chat about their varying firmness levels and feels.
The firmness level of the Helix is going to vary widely depending on which version you choose. The Helix Midnight and Dusk, have moderate firmness levels, which will be quite versatile and thus best-selling. If you are more particular, however, Helix Sleep would be happy to provide you with more choices.
Lying down on the Helix Midnight, the uppermost foam comfort layer feels soft and produces some quality body shaping, while the other materials in the Midnight work to control this and make an overall firmer structure. The firmer support foams and individually-wrapped coils also assist with re-positioning.
For those who sleep on their back, there is enough good comfort material here to conform to your lower spine while supporting your back in a neutral position. For heavier buyers or people who prefer a firmer bed, there are 2 more models for you in the Helix Twilight and Helix Dawn models.
Many side sleepers should feel totally comfortable on the Midnight, however, if you’re wanting a bit less pressure while still going with a flexible medium firmness, you may decide to check out the Helix Dusk, which utilizes a body-conforming latex-alternative foam that’s breathable and provides the surface a little bit of bounce.
Those who sleep on their side typically have to be mindful of pressure since they sleep with all their weight on a tinier region. Those who are lighter than average or people in the market for lots of pressure relief may want to stay with the plusher variants.
Stomach sleepers should feel supported in the Midnight, particularly if this is not their primary position or they tend to change things up a lot. Firmer mattresses might be preferable for exclusive stomach sleepers so that they can ensure their hips do not dip and over-arch their back.
Finally, the manufacturer suggests Helix for sleepers up to 350 pounds or couples who weigh up to 250 lbs each. In the event you or your spouse are significantly bigger than average, Helix has also produced a mattress called the Nightfall that’s constructed to accommodate a total weight of 1000 lbs.
Couples with differing body types or tastes can also select a dual comfort model that combines Firm with Plush.
Keep in mind that if none of those options sound quite right, you may always have a look at the 4 other models in the newest collection: the Sunset (plush, softer compared to the Moonlight), Dusk (medium feel, slightly firmer compared to the Midnight), Twilight (firm, designed for side sleepers), or Dawn (the firmest option of the bunch).
Next up, let us talk about motion transfer, or the amount of activity that’s detectable from one side of the bed to the other. While this will be significant for many buyers, those who doze with a partner may find it particularly interesting as it will illuminate just how bothered you’ll be by your partner’s nighttime movements. Helix Sleep Jobs
Based on my observation, Helix surpasses expectations for hybrids in this space due to the amount and quality of foam it incorporates, as well as the individually wrapped coils that help keep motion at its source. If you are a light sleeper worried that motion from the other side of the mattress will bother you, then you shouldn’t have a lot of concern with this mattress. I would say that all of the Helix mattresses are a good option for couples.
While getting a new mattress, most individuals want to know whether they’ll feel as though they’re sinking “into” the it or lying “on top” of it.
Even though you’re likely to experience a little immediate sinkage from the uppermost foam layers, when you sink through those layers, you are going to hit the individually-wrapped coils and experience fantastic support. This combination will appeal to a vast range of sleepers, but will satisfy stomach and back sleepers in particular.
While I do feel the foam compress as I sit close to the edge of the mattress, the individually-wrapped coils stop the mattress from collapsing too much . I feel very secure seated on the mattress.
In my view, Helix mattresses perform above average when it comes to edge support in comparison to other bed-in-a-box brands, and this is due to their freshly updated edges that contain reinforcement in the coil system. There may be a little compression at the comfort foams when you sit with all your weight on the side, but lying on the side should feel comfy and secure. Partners who want more space to stretch out normally love strong edges.
Laying down, I also feel like I can get near the edge of the bed without feeling like I will roll over or be pushed off the bed. Overall, I believe that the Helix has great edge support.
100 Night Sleep Trial
Among the best features of buying a mattress-in-a-box online is the sleep trials that they typically come with. Helix Mattress is not any different. You customize the mattress that’s meant for you, place your order, and within a couple of weeks, it is delivered to your home. From the minute you click to purchase the mattress, you have 100 nights to test it out (minus the time for delivery, so it is more like 90 nights). If it is not perfect, you can return it free of charge, and get a full refund.
If you do return the mattress, it is not resold or restocked. In fact, Helix locates a local place to donate it. When there is no way the company can find a way to donate your refunded mattress, it’s recycled instead. Helix Sleep Jobs
Helix offers a generous 10-year warranty that covers flaws, but it comes with limitations, exceptions, plus the burden of proof is on the purchaser (like most guarantees ). Of course, you must be the first owner of the Helix to use the warranty, and you will need to be sure that you save your receipt as proof of purchase.
Provided that you follow all of the manufacturer’s expectations for use, your warranty is valid. That means you will need to use a proper base (no adjustable bed frames or slats more than 4” apart) and you don’t use the Helix improperly – no jumping on it!
If your Helix starts to show an indentation of 1” or more, something that usually happens when low-density foams break down, you could qualify for a repair or replacement of your Helix.

What’s The Best Way To Care For Your Helix?
Helix mattresses need no turning, but it’s suggested that you rotate the mattress perhaps a couple of times a year to prevent it from wearing down from excess sagging.
For regular cleaning, it’s suggested to use cold water with gentle dish detergent to clean any dirt or stains. Be sure that you wash using gentle circular movements, instead of rubbing.
