Helix Sleep offers hybrid mattresses made with polyfoam comfort systems, dual-layer covers, and pocketed coil support cores fortified using polyfoam base layers. Helix Singapore
Helix Sleep gives you full mattress customization. Buyers are requested to complete a survey that discusses their weight, height, firmness preferences, sleep position, and other factors. Then based on these answers, Helix Sleep will recommend one of the following 6 mattress variants; each individual option gives a one-of-a-kind combination of support and firmness:
- Helix Sunset: ‘Soft’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Moonlight: ‘Soft’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
- Helix Midnight: ‘Medium’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dusk: ‘Medium’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
- Helix Twilight: ‘Firm’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dawn: ‘Firm’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
Helix Sleep mattresses with targeted cushioning conform closely, which makes them optimal for side sleepers. While those that have moderate cushioning do not conform as much and are ideal for all sleep positions. Lighter men and women may feel most comfortable on variants with balanced support, while individuals that weigh 130 pounds or more often favor the variants with additional support.
Helix Sleep also markets 2 models with dual-firmness, the Helix Dual Balanced (with balanced support and targeted cushioning) and the Helix Dual Extra (with additional support and moderate cushioning). Both of these mattresses have one ‘Firm’ side and one ‘Soft’ side, making them suitable for couples with differing tastes. Last, the Helix Nightfall is a hybrid developed for larger, heavier people. This mattress has an extra layer of memory foam for maximum support.
My review of Helix Sleep mattresses found that the customizable aspect accommodates sleepers with a wide range of firmness preferences and body types. The mattresses also have strong edge support, isolate motion transfer well, and create less noise than the normal hybrid. Helix Singapore

Construction Helix Singapore
All 9 of the different iterations of this mattress will differ slightly in construction, but for 6 of the 9 models, the construction should be rather similar. The 6 core variants (listed above) are 10 inches tall, composed of 6 inches of pocketed coils and 4 inches of foam.
Helix mattresses vary in firmness and density depending upon the foams utilized in order to get more/less support and more/less firmness. The four different foams used within Helix mattresses are high-grade polyurethane foam, memory foam, Helix Dynamic Foam, and a DuraDense Foam (aka support foam). Not all of the models have all the foams – some just have 3 of the 4 – but it really shouldn’t matter much for the purchaser. The foams are just levers that Helix Sleep can pull in order to offer 9 different variants (and supposedly have a mattress for everybody). Helix Singapore
Underneath, I briefly discuss the construction (materials and quality) of the typical Helix mattress, the Helix Midnight.
Cover – Initially, all Helix mattresses come with the same cover, made of 100% polyester. I found it to be thin and pliable, allowing for some great breathability. However, if you want something more lavish, you can choose to swap out the regular cover for the brand’s UltraCool one, which is made up of a phase-change material to regulate temperature.
Comfort Layer – On top, you’ll find a thick layer of memory foam. This type of foam has a slow reaction to pressure, meaning you’re probably going to experience some great body shaping. While it might seem odd for a supposedly medium firm bed to feature a memory foam comfort layer, it is crucial to remember that the existence of deep sinkage does not necessarily translate to softness; in fact, most of the time it gives quite a firm feel.
Transition Layer – After sinking through the memory foam comfort layer, you will discover a transition layer of poly foam. This layer of foam works to suppress the sinkage of the comfort layer and establish a supportive, medium firm feel as you reach the pocketed coils below.
Support Layer – Most of the mattress consists of this segment of individually wrapped coils. This system gives a supportive lift to the construction, working to put the sleeper “on top” of the mattress, as opposed to “in it”. Because the coils are wrapped individually, they’re also likely to encourage additional breathability as air flows in between the spaces in the coils.
Base Layer – Last, you’ll uncover a thin segment of high-density poly foam. This segment doesn’t affect the feel of the bed too much, functioning mostly to provide the pocketed coils something off of which to respond.
Firmness and Support
After taking a peek at the construction of the Helix mattresses, let us talk about their varying firmness levels and feels.
The firmness of the Helix is going to vary widely depending on the version you select. The Helix Dusk and Midnight, have moderate firmness levels, which will be quite versatile and thus very popular. If you have more specific preferences, however, Helix Sleep would be happy to oblige you with more options.
Laying down on the Helix Midnight, the memory foam comfort layer feels soft and generates some quality body shaping, while the rest of the materials within the mattress work to control this and make an overall firmer structure. The individually-wrapped coils and the firmer support foams also help with re-positioning.
For back sleepers, there’s enough good comfort material in the Helix Midnight to conform to your lower spine while supporting your back in a neutral position. For heavier sleepers or people who want a firmer bed, there are 2 more choices for you in the Helix Dawn and Helix Twilight variants.
Most side sleepers should feel totally comfy on the Midnight, however, if you are needing a bit less pressure while still sticking with a flexible medium firmness, you might want to take a look at the Helix Dusk, which uses a body-conforming latex-alternative foam that’s breathable and gives the surface a small bit of bounce.
Those who sleep on their side typically need to be more mindful of pressure since they sleep with most of their weight on a smaller area. People who are lighter than average or people looking for plenty of pressure relief may want to stay with the plusher variants.
Those who sleep on their stomach should feel comfortable in the Midnight, especially if this isn’t their primary position or they have a tendency to change things up a lot. Firmer choices might be preferable for exclusive tummy sleepers so that they can ensure their hips don’t dip and over-arch their spine.
Finally, the manufacturer recommends Helix mattresses for sleepers up to 350 pounds or couples who weigh up to 250 pounds each. If you or your spouse are significantly bigger than average, the company has also produced a bed called the Nightfall that’s created to accommodate a total weight of 1000 pounds.
Partners with differing types of bodies or preferences may also select a dual comfort model that pairs Firm with Plush.
Bear in mind that if neither of those options sound quite right, you may always check out the 4 other models in the newest collection: the Sunset (plush, softer than the Moonlight), Dusk (moderate feel, slightly firmer than the Midnight), Twilight (firm, made for side sleepers), or Dawn (the firmest variant in the line).
Next up, let us talk about motion transfer, or the amount of disturbance that’s noticeable from 1 side of the bed to the other. While this will be important for all sleepers, those who doze with a partner may find it especially interesting as it’ll illuminate just how bothered you may be by your partner’s nighttime movements. Helix Singapore
According to my research, Helix surpasses expectations for hybrids in this space because of the quantity and quality of foam it incorporates, as well as the individually wrapped coils that help keep motion at its source. If you’re a light sleeper afraid that motion from the other side of the mattress will bother you, then you should not have a lot of concern with this mattress. I’d say that any of the Helix mattresses are a good choice for couples.
While buying a new mattress, most people want to know whether they will feel as though they are sinking “into” the it or laying “on top” of it.
Even though you’re likely to encounter a little immediate sinkage from the soft foam at the top, when you sink through these layers, you’ll reach the pocketed coils and find fantastic support. This combination will interest a vast assortment of individuals, but will suit stomach and back sleepers in particular.
Though I do feel the foam compress as I sit close to the edge of the Helix Midnight, the coils prevent the mattress from collapsing a lot beyond that. I feel very secured sitting on the bed.
In my view, Helix mattresses are well above average for edge support compared to other bed-in-a-box brands, which is because of their newly updated edges containing reinforcement in the coil system. There can be a little compression in the comfort foams when you sit with all your weight on the side, but laying on the side will feel comfortable and safe. Couples who need more space to stretch out typically appreciate strong edges.
Laying down, I feel like I can get near the edge of the mattress without feeling like I will roll over or be ejected from the bed. Overall, I believe the Helix mattress has nice edge support.
100 Night Sleep Trial
Among the best features of buying a mattress-in-a-box online is the sleep trials that they usually include. Helix Sleep is not any different. You create the mattress that is intended for you, place your order, and in a couple of weeks, it’s delivered to your home. From the moment you click to purchase the mattress, you have 100 nights to try it out (minus the time for delivery, so it’s more like 90 nights). If it isn’t ideal, you can return it for free, and receive a complete refund.
Should you return the mattress, it is not restocked or resold. In fact, Helix Sleep does its best to locate a local place to donate it. When there is no way Helix Sleep can find a way to donate your returned mattress, they have it recycled instead. Helix Singapore
Helix Sleep offers a generous 10-year guarantee that covers flaws, but it has a few limitations, exceptions, while the burden of proof is on the customer (like most guarantees ). Of course, you should be the first owner of the mattress to use the guarantee, and you need to be sure you keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
Provided that you follow all of the manufacturer’s expectations for use, your warranty is valid. That means you need to have a proper foundation (no adjustable bed frames or slats over 4” apart) and that you don’t use the Helix improperly – no jumping on the bed!
If your mattress starts to show an indentation of 1” or more, which is what usually happens when low-density foams break down, you could be eligible for a replacement or repair of your mattress.

What’s The Best Way To Care For Your Helix?
Helix mattresses require no flipping, but it’s suggested that you rotate the mattress possibly once or twice a year to prevent it from wearing down from excessive sagging.
For regular cleaning, it’s advised to use cool water along gentle dish detergent to clean any stains or dirt. Make certain that you wash using gentle circular movements, rather than rubbing.
